What We Are Looking For:

Bentley Systems is looking for Engineers with a passion for software development to join our team of Engineer Developers in Structural group. This is a software research and development requirement with an emphasis on research. Selected candidates will be contributing to various Bentley products and their latest research projects which may include working with cutting edge developments in the field of finite element analysis and design.

• We are looking for students from Master’s degree in Civil /Structural/Mechanical, 2026 passing out batch for internship with Bentley for 9 months from Oct 25 to May 26, who will work in our software development teams.
• Work mode for internship will be hybrid model, work from Pune or Kolkata office 3 times a week
• Students who perform well in their internships have a chance to be placed in Bentley Systems for full time positions depending on their performance in internships.

Your Day to Day: As a Software Research and Development Intern, you will be working on REAL projects that our users ACTUALLY use. The responsibilities of a Software Research and Development Intern include research, design, implementation, documentation, verification, and support of product features.

What You Bring:

• Sound grasp of engineering concepts like static & dynamic analysis, non-linear analysis, finite element analysis, vibration analysis etc.
• Experience with stress analysis and numerical computing programs like STAAD, ETABS, ANSYS, AutoPIPE, MathCAD, MATLAB etc. is desired.
• Any programming experience would be an added advantage. (C++/C#/FORTRAN on Windows platforms).
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Independent, Self-motivated and goal orientated.
• Exposure to TypeScript or JavaScript is highly recommended.
