We are seeking a motivated System Engineer I to join our team as a Backup Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining backup solutions using Cohesity, EMC NetWorker, Isilon & OCI technologies. This role ensures effective data protection and seamless recovery processes to support the organization’s business continuity objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain backup and recovery solutions using Cohesity, EMC NetWorker, and Isilon systems.
• Basic understanding of cloud – OCI preferred
• Perform routine backup operations, monitor backup jobs, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Manage data restores as requested, ensuring data integrity and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve backup failures and related incidents.
• Develop and maintain backup job documentation, schedules, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project implementation and incident resolution.
• Follow established best practices and compliance requirements for data protection.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support for critical backup and recovery issues
• Participate in audits and support disaster recovery exercises.
